With Halloween around the corner, the time is right for another story from the “Good Witch.”

And Catherine Bell, who returns to Hallmark Channel this month with a new “Good Witch” movie, plans to tell a few more. Bell has signed on to play the titular witch in a fifth movie.

The fourth, “The Good Witch’s Family,” premieres 9 p.m. Oct. 29 on Hallmark. The fourth film in the series finds Bell’s Cassie Nightingale — who may or may not have magical powers — having married police chief Jake Russell (Chris Potter) and settling in to life as a wife and stepmother when she is visited by long-lost cousin Abigail (Sarah Power), who brings misery to Middleton.

Bell, meanwhile, has inked a deal to make a fifth film in series. Production is slated to begin in early 2012 for a premiere later in the year.
